# SAVERS framework The SAVERS framework is a morning routine structure introduced by [[Hal Elrod]] in [[The Miracle Morning]]. It stands for six practices designed to be performed each morning to accelerate personal growth: - **S — Silence**: Meditation, prayer, deep breathing, or quiet reflection. Starting the day in stillness calms the mind and reduces stress - **A — Affirmations**: Repeating positive statements about who you want to be, what you want to achieve, and what you're committed to. Helps reprogram limiting beliefs - **V — Visualization**: Mentally rehearsing your goals, ideal outcomes, and the actions needed to get there. Creates clarity and motivation - **E — Exercise**: Physical movement to boost energy, sharpen focus, and improve mood. Even a few minutes of stretching or light exercise counts - **R — Reading**: Learning from books, articles, or other educational content. Consistent reading compounds knowledge over time - **S — Scribing/Journaling**: Writing down thoughts, reflections, ideas, gratitude, or lessons learned. Externalizes thinking and creates self-awareness The framework is flexible. Each element can be as short as a few minutes, making it possible to complete all six in as little as 6 minutes (one minute each) or to expand them to fill a longer morning block. The order can also be adapted to personal preference. The core idea is that dedicating time to personal development before the day takes over creates compound effects on well-being, clarity, and productivity. ## References - Elrod, H.
