# All knowledge is conjectural
All we have is guesses about reality, but no definite proof of anything. Only theories that we could not prove wrong. Our knowledge is the best we know about something at this point in time but it doesn't mean that it will remain so.
In the future we might learn or discover new things that invalidate our current knowledge or experience it in a way that we cannot foresee right now.
[[Personal Knowledge Management (PKM)]] and [[Note-taking (MoC)|Note-taking]] are especially relevant because we can make our own knowledge evolve and we can compare (and even maintain!) different versions of our knowledge over time. Each time we discover a new truth, and whenever something changes our perception of reality, our knowledge evolves, and we can make our [[Personal Knowledge Graph (PKG)]] evolve accordingly.
