# Another Quick Switcher plugin for Obsidian Another Quick Switcher is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by tadashi-aikawa. It's the most configurable replacement for the [[Quick switcher core plugin for Obsidian|core Quick switcher]]: instead of one switcher, you define your own search commands. Each command has a target (all files, backlinks, outgoing links, 2-hop links or open files) and a list of sort priorities: perfect word match, prefix match, fuzzy name match, tag, header, link or property match, length, last opened, last modified, bookmarked, alphabetical, created. So you can build: - a "Recent" switcher sorted by last opened - a "Projects" switcher that ranks property matches first - a "Neighbors" switcher limited to 2-hop links (notes linked to the notes this one links to) The query syntax inside it: `"exact"`, `-exclude`, `#tag`, `@key:value` for properties, and `<cd>` to restrict results to the current folder. For example, `@status:active #project <cd>` lists the active project notes in the folder you're in. There's more: - The backlink and link searches show the matching lines, so you see *how* a note is mentioned before opening anything - A "grep" mode searches the full text of your notes through [[ripgrep]] (`rg`, a very fast command-line search tool) and sorts results by modification date. A forum user with a 30,000-note vault recommended it when core search felt slow - An in-file line search with context, a "header floating search" to jump between headings, and a move-file dialog - A "Normalize accents/diacritics" toggle for accent-insensitive title search. It's off by default because it's 2 to 5 times slower It supports desktop and mobile, but the author doesn't use mobile, so mobile bugs are low priority.
