# Block View plugin for Obsidian Block View is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by Timo Bechtel that turns your notes into a database of blocks inside [[Obsidian Bases]]. Bases normally works at the note level; Block View splits each matching note into blocks, so you can filter and display specific pieces of content (tasks, tagged bullets, sections) from many notes in one view. You keep the usual Bases features (file filters, sorting, grouping) and add block-level filters on top. Examples from the README: resurface tagged bullet points from your daily notes every week, or build a vault-wide library of quotes.
