# Claude Code Voice Mode Claude Code supports voice mode, allowing spoken conversations instead of typing. Available on all plans. ## Activation - `/voice`: enable push-to-talk mode in the CLI - `Space` (hold): record; release to send ## Modes - **Hands-free** (default): Claude listens continuously and responds to natural pauses. Best in quiet environments - **Push-to-talk**: hold Space while speaking, release when done. Better for noisy environments ## Features - Supports ~20 languages (EN, ES, FR, DE, CZ, PL, and more) - Seamless switching between text and voice within conversations — context carries over - Textual transcripts saved in chat history - Voice conversations count toward regular usage limits - Multiple voice options available (configurable via Settings > General > Voice Settings) Enterprise admins can disable voice mode for their organizations. ## References - Voice Mode: https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11101966-using-voice-mode ## Related - [[Claude Code]] - [[Claude Code Interactive Mode]]
