# Don't question your tooling choices too often Questioning your choice of tools is just another way to procrastinate. When you question those choices, you end up spending a crazy amount of time researching alternatives, trying things out, just to realize that you've just wasted a lot of time. Yes, you might find better tools along the way, but most of the time, you're just setting yourself back, losing your focus, not moving forward with more valuable tasks, and scattering your information in even more places. This kills productivity and adds to the mental overhead. ## Related - [[In defense of using fewer tools]] - [[Don't overthink your note taking system]] - [[Exploring tools and their features is often procrastination in disguise]]
