# Editing Toolbar plugin for Obsidian This plugin adds a visual toolbar you can use to modify text styles in your notes. If you're not used to Markdown yet, then this can prove very useful. Demo: [https://github.com/PKM-er/obsidian-editing-toolbar/raw/master/editing-toolbar-demo.gif](https://github.com/PKM-er/obsidian-editing-toolbar/raw/master/editing-toolbar-demo.gif) ## Pin any command to the toolbar This is the most useful feature, and it's easy to miss: you can add **any** Obsidian command to the toolbar (core features, plugin commands, templates, etc.), not only formatting actions. For each command, you can pick a custom icon and rename it. Commands can also be grouped into submenus and reordered with drag and drop. That way, the commands you use every day become one-click buttons, right where you write. ## Other features - Several positions: at the top, following the cursor, or fixed.
