# Embedded Omnisearch plugin for Obsidian Embedded-Omnisearch is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by Fozi (fnsign) that puts an [[Omnisearch plugin for Obsidian|Omnisearch]] search box *inside* a note, with options per block. It's the closest thing to a saved search with relevance ranking. Great on a project's MoC: ````markdown ```embedded-omnisearch pageSize: 20 path: Projects/Obsidian ext: md canvas exclude: archive ``` ```` The box appears in Reading view and Live Preview, with ranked results, scores and excerpts. `Enter` searches, `Esc` clears, and holding `Alt` over a result shows its full path. Page size, highlight color and highlight opacity are configurable. You can build a "search dashboard" note with several blocks, one per area of your vault. It requires Omnisearch, installed and enabled, and it forces notes that contain the block into preview mode.
