# Evergreen projects Evergreen projects are ongoing activities, things that you keep focusing on and improving over time. An evergreen project may never be completed, but rather evolves and matures as you continue to invest time and energy into it. Evergreen projects represent long-term commitments that (hopefully) yield compounding benefits thought consistent attention and continuous improvement. Some examples: maintaining a blog, developing a knowledge base, cultivating a garden (cfr [[Evergreen notes]]). A [[Personal Knowledge Management (PKM)]] system (often incorrectly compared to a note-taking system) can also be considered as an evergreen project. Even small, but regular contributions accumulate into significant progress over time.
