# Highlight of the day The [[Most Important Task of the Day (MITD)]]. Completing or making significant progress towards that task should be enough to feel good about your day. Coined in the book [[Make Time (book)]]. Since I read it, I’ve started to experiment and I now define my *highlight* each day, whether it is something for work, leisure, a boring chore, tied to an obligation or anything else. All that matters is that there’s just one major thing that I want to try my best at and dedicate my energy to achieve / make progress on. And if I manage to make progress on that one, I'll be proud at the end of the day.
