An Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) is a clear description of your ideal (i.e., perfect) customer.
Finding customers that are a perfect for you is essential if you want to enjoy your relationship with your clients and to maximize the benefits/[[Return on Investment (ROI)]] for them. Ideal customers understand you/your approach, appreciate what you deliver, reduce costs, etc.
An ICP is not a [[Buyer Persona]]. Buyer persona represent an ideal customer and data such as demographics, pain points, problems, goals, needs, motivators, etc. On the other hand, your ICP is not just a target customer. It's the *perfect* one. You may have many buyer personas, but only ONE ICP.

- Ready to buy: they have a need for your product and you're sure you can add value and/or solve their pain points
- Ability/goals to scale: they have the ability to scale or have plans in place for growth
- Employee/Company size: their average size fits your [[Total Addressable Market (TAM)]]
- Geographical fit: they're in a location you sell to

Analyze the answers to identify:
- Similarities
- Common attributes/characteristics
- Recurring patterns
- Connections/relationships
