# Ideal schedule for the day Creating an ideal schedule for the day is useful, but not essential. Assuming that you have [[Clarity (MoC)|Clarity]] about the [[Most Important Task of the Day (MITD)]], have an up-to-date, and prioritized todo list for the day (cfr [[MoSCoW Method variant for daily todos]]), it's possible to imagine an ideal scenario for your day. This can serve as a guide to spend your time efficiently. I consider this practice as optional, because most of the time, unexpected events and disruptions will prevent you from respecting that ideal schedule. It doesn't make it entirely useless, but it certainly diminishes its value. I prefer preparing a generic [[Ideal schedule for the week]], which is not related to my ongoing tasks, but rather to my current priorities.
