# Lemons Search plugin for Obsidian Lemons Search is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by Moritz Jung: a very fast fuzzy finder with a live preview of the selected file, in the style of fzf or Telescope (for those who know them). The matching is written in Rust and runs in a web worker, so the matching work stays off Obsidian's main thread. It adds three commands: - `Lemons Search: Open search` finds files by path - `Lemons Search: Open alias search` finds files by name and aliases - `Lemons Search: Command palette` Queries are made of space-separated parts, with fzf-style modifiers: `'foo` for a substring, `^foo` for a prefix, `.md
for a suffix, `^foo.md
for an exact match, and `!` to negate. Lowercase terms ignore case; a term with an uppercase letter becomes case-sensitive. It's desktop only. It searches file names and paths, not the content of your notes; for full-text search, look at [[Sift plugin for Obsidian|Sift]] or [[Omnisearch plugin for Obsidian|Omnisearch]]. ## References - Source code: https://github.com/mprojectscode/obsidian-lemons-search-plugin - Community plugin page: https://obsidian.md/plugins?id=lemons-search ## Related - [[The Complete Guide to Obsidian Search - Find Any Note When You Need It (Article)]] - [[The Best Obsidian Plugins for Finding Notes (Article)]] - [[Quick switcher core plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Quick Switcher plus plus plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Another Quick Switcher plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Omnisearch plugin for Obsidian]]
