# My Template for Daily Notes
I currently use the following template for my daily notes:
- **Plan for the day**: [[Most Important Task of the Day (MITD)]], [[Most Impactful Next Task (MINT)]], and all the rest... 😂
- **Notes**: Scratchpad, random notes & thoughts
- **Achievements**: Completed tasks & goals, successes, ...
- **Discoveries**: Things I've learned, don't want to forget, find interesting, want to explore, try or experiment
- **Challenges**: Challenges and problems you're facing
- **Gratitude**: Mindfulness practice. Capture joyful instants; they're precious
- **Interesting Links**: wonders of the Web
In addition, I also capture metadata such as:
- my energy level in the morning (i.e., did I start the day tired)
- my energy level in the evening
- my focus level throughout the day
- my physical activity
- ...
I keep my daily notes structure quite basic. Maybe the above looks too complicated. If so, don't worry. Write what you want, how you want to write it. It's *your* journal, so it can be as messy or as structured as you want!
