# Natural link plugin for Obsidian
Natural link is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by rekby that lets you create links to notes using natural word forms. Type a word in any form, and it finds the matching notes regardless of declension and word order: "wooden boxes" or "box wooden" finds a note titled "Wooden box".
That matters in heavily inflected languages like Russian, where a word changes form with its grammatical role, so a note title rarely appears in your text exactly as written. Russian morphology is fully supported (based on OpenCorpora), and English works too (WordNet exception lists).
It also searches aliases and the display text of existing links, matches prefixes as you type, supports heading (`#`) and block (`^`) links, and keeps your typed text as the display text (`[[Note|your input]]`). Use the "Insert natural link" command, or opt in to replace the native `[[` suggestions.
It hadn't been manually reviewed by the Obsidian team when I looked.
