# Positive feedback loop
When we get feedback after performing an action, we can use it to find or keep motivation, inform future iterations, gradually improve our results and get closer to achieving our goals.
Achieving a small task that contributes to our [[Big and hairy goals]] is valuable. Recognizing the progress is valuable feedback. It gives us satisfaction about having made progress (no matter how little), and motivates us to continue.
Similarly, gathering feedback after achieving or delivering something will provide us with valuable information to make better decisions in the future (e.g., for the next iterations of the work).
Positive feedback loops help create [[Virtuous circle]].
