# Process by elimination
If you want to go through something (e.g., read an article, reply to an e-mail, etc) and don't want to forget anything, then proceed by elimination.
For example: copy the mail you want to reply to. Then, go through the paragraphs, one by one. For each, decide if you need to react/reply. Once you're done with a paragraph, delete it, and keep going until you're done. That way, you'll be sure you have gone through every single point, without exception.
Proceeding by elimination increases precision and thoroughness.
