# Quality circle A quality circle is a group of workers who do the same, or similar work. They meet regularly to identify, analyze, and solve work-related problems. A quality circle is generally composed of 3-5 persons (max 12). Such a group is usually led by a supervisor or manager, and presents its solution to management. Whenever possible, the group implement the solutions themselves in order to improve the performance of the organization, improve the quality of its outputs, and also to motivate employees. Quality circles were most popular during the 1980s, but continue to exist in the form of [[Kaizen group]], and similar types of focus groups. ## References - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quality_circle
