# Quick Preview plugin for Obsidian Quick Preview is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by Ryota Ushio (ryotaushio, also behind [[PDF Plus plugin for Obsidian|PDF++]]) that shows a preview of the highlighted suggestion in link suggestions and the [[Quick switcher core plugin for Obsidian|quick switcher]], before you select it. Handy when several notes have similar names. It's stale: no update since 2024. Today I'd use the preview built into [[Floating Search plugin for Obsidian|Floating Search]] or [[Another Quick Switcher plugin for Obsidian|Another Quick Switcher]] instead. ## References - Source code: https://github.com/ryotaushio/obsidian-quick-preview - Community plugin page: https://obsidian.md/plugins?id=quick-preview ## Related - [[The Complete Guide to Obsidian Search - Find Any Note When You Need It (Article)]] - [[The Best Obsidian Plugins for Finding Notes (Article)]] - [[Quick switcher core plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Obsidian Quick Switcher]] - [[Better Search Views plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Obsidian Search]] - [[Obsidian Community Plugins]]
