# Reflection plugin for Obsidian Reflection is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by Brandon Boswell (brandonkboswell) that shows your daily and weekly notes from the same day in previous years, a simple "on this day" for your journal. It's barely maintained, and it depends on the [[Periodic notes plugin for Obsidian|Periodic Notes]] plugin. Today I'd use [[Daily Echoes plugin for Obsidian|Daily Echoes]] instead (zero configuration, works with the core [[Daily notes core plugin for Obsidian|Daily notes]] settings, and can include non-daily notes), or [[Better Backlinks plugin for Obsidian|Better Backlinks]]. My own [[Journal Bases plugin for Obsidian|Journal Bases]] covers the calendar side. ## References - Source code: https://github.com/brandonkboswell/reflection - Community plugin page: https://obsidian.md/plugins?id=reflection ## Related - [[The Complete Guide to Obsidian Search - Find Any Note When You Need It (Article)]] - [[The Best Obsidian Plugins for Finding Notes (Article)]] - [[Journaling]] - [[Daily notes core plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Periodic notes plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Journal Bases plugin for Obsidian]] - [[Serendipity (MoC)]] - [[Obsidian Community Plugins]]
