# SN(A)CK System
PKM System created by [[Theo Køppen]]. It is inspired by the [[Zettelkasten method]].
It attempts to simplify the thinking process, from inputs and processing to outputs and creation.
Core idea behind it: creation is the key to learning
## Concepts
- **S**ources: Inputs of the system (cfr [[How to choose your sources and inputs]])
- **N**otes: Everything you capture from your sources, including highlights, your own insights, etc
- (**A**)tomic creation: The results of "processing" the "input" notes (i.e., [[Atomic notes]]). It's all about extracting concepts, ideas, knowledge, adding your own thoughts, and dissecting ideas (e.g., using divergent and convergent thinking)
- **C**reation: The outputs you create using your notes and "atomic creations"
- **K**nowledge: The glue between the three parts of the process (inputs, processing and output). In his vision, knowledge lies above the other three steps, and connects to the rest. Knowledge notes cluster highlights, atomic notes, creations, etc. These notes also represent an "interests landscape", things one is interested in, curious about (cfr the "What Sparks" of [[Evelyn Chapman]])
