# Semantic Auto-Linker plugin for Obsidian
Semantic Auto-Linker, by ysf-ad, finds the links missing in your vault and suggests them, for the current note or for the whole vault. Nothing gets written until you've reviewed and accepted the suggestions, and it first previews how the accepted links will change your graph.
- Exact matches, AI (semantic) matches, or both, for each vault-wide scan
- A sidebar with link suggestions while you write
- An explorer that maps your vault as a semantic space, where similar notes sit close together even when they aren't linked: handy to spot clusters and isolated notes
For resurfacing, that's what matters: it turns a resurfaced note into a real link, so the connection survives the plugin. [[Link Unlinked Mentions plugin for Obsidian|Link Unlinked Mentions]] does the same based on titles and aliases rather than meaning. It's desktop only, and Obsidian staff haven't reviewed it manually yet.
