# Simple CanvaSearch plugin for Obsidian Simple CanvaSearch is an [[Obsidian]] community plugin by ddalexb to search inside the canvas you have open. It does fuzzy matching on the notes and cards of the current canvas and pans the view to the match. You can search titles only, or titles and contents (slower on huge canvases). Core Search already indexes the text on canvases, so it finds which canvas contains something. Simple CanvaSearch solves the next problem: finding the card inside a big board once the canvas is open. It replaces the [[Search in canvas plugin for Obsidian|Search in canvas plugin]], which hasn't been updated since 2024. It's desktop only.
