# Three good things technique Develop the habit of listing three good things that happened each day. Those could be anything: a positive news, an achievement, something you've learned, something you've gained, a smile you gave or received. The size or value doesn't matter at all. What matters is the mere act of finding positive elements in your days. Along with those, take note of the role you played in making those happen. Capturing at least three good things each day will help you become more positive over time. When you feel down, just take a look at those good things to cheer you up.
