# Attention economy (MoC)
Now that we are in the attention economy, revenue has more and more potential to be disconnected from the work time and efforts. Now, revenue is instead correlated to the number of eyeballs one can manage to expose their content and ideas to. A person or company that is able to captivate the attention of a large audience has a ton of leverage, and can generate much higher revenue.
