# Guy Kawasaki ![[50 Resources/51 Attachments/51.03 Public/2025-08-23_Guy_Kawasaki.jpg|400]] Guy Takeo Kawasaki (born August 30, 1954) is an American marketing specialist, author, and Silicon Valley venture capitalist. He was one of the Apple employees originally responsible for marketing their Macintosh computer line in 1984, popularizing the word "evangelist" in marketing and the concepts of evangelism marketing and technology evangelism. Kawasaki graduated from Stanford University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, then earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He has written fifteen books and currently serves as Chief Evangelist at Canva.
