# Jamie Zawinski Jamie Zawinski (born November 3, 1968), widely known by his initials "jwz", is an American programmer best known for his early work on Netscape Navigator and the founding of the Mozilla project, as well as for authoring XEmacs and the long-lived XScreenSaver collection. After leaving the software industry he bought and runs the DNA Lounge nightclub in San Francisco. In regex circles he is immortalized for the quip: "Some people, when confronted with a problem, think 'I know, I'll use regular expressions.'
