Bruce is the Co-Founder and CEO of [[Inrupt]], the company he co-founded in May 2018 alongside Sir [[Tim Berners-Lee]] to commercialize and advance the [[Solid Protocol]] — the decentralized web platform Berners-Lee designed to give individuals control over their personal data. Bruce brings decades of executive and entrepreneurial experience to the role, having previously led multiple enterprise software and cybersecurity firms through founding, scaling, and acquisition. Before Inrupt, Bruce co-founded and served as CEO of Resilient Systems (acquired by IBM), a company that pioneered incident response and resilience planning for enterprises. He also led Quickcomm Software Solutions (acquired by Vodafone) and Authentica (acquired by EMC), and held leadership roles at Symantec and Counterpane (acquired by British Telecom).
