# Ken Schwaber

Ken Schwaber is an American software developer who co-created Scrum with [[Jeff Sutherland]] in the early 1990s. He was one of the 17 original signatories of the [[Agile Manifesto]] and has been instrumental in standardizing and spreading Scrum worldwide.
Schwaber co-founded the Scrum Alliance in 2001 and later founded Scrum.org in 2009 to maintain the integrity of Scrum through the Professional Scrum framework.
