# Wang Xiaochuan Founder and CEO of [[Baichuan]] Intelligence, the Chinese AI lab behind the Baichuan family of [[Large Language Models (LLMs)]]. Previously the long-time CEO and co-founder of Sogou, the Chinese search engine, which he led from 2003 until its acquisition by Tencent in 2021. He graduated from Tsinghua University's computer science program, giving him the same Tsinghua-lineage signal that is common across the Chinese AI frontier cohort.
