# Copy Image plugin for Obsidian An [[Obsidian]] plugin that adds a right-click context menu entry to copy any image displayed in your notes straight to the clipboard. Paste it anywhere afterwards: chat apps, documents, image editors. A tiny quality-of-life utility that removes the save-then-reattach dance when sharing images from your vault. ## Features - **Right-click any image** in reading or editing view and pick "Copy Image" - Works with local attachments and embedded images - Zero configuration ## Maintenance status Checked on 2026-10-09: the last release is 1.1.1 (2025-09-27). No new release in more than 12 months doesn't mean the plugin is broken. Many small plugins are simply done: they do one thing and keep working as long as Obsidian's APIs don't change. I haven't re-tested it on Obsidian 1.14.4 (it's not enabled in my own vault), but nothing indicates that it's broken.
