# Valhalla Supermassive Valhalla Supermassive is a free reverb/delay plugin by Valhalla DSP, built for MASSIVE delays and reverbs: lush reverb clouds, otherworldly delays and swelling waves of feedback. Valhalla pitches it for huge ambient spaces, harmonic echoes and space sounds. Native builds for Windows and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon). It's free with no strings attached, which makes it an easy first "big ambient" plugin for guitar. ## Modes 22 reverb/delay algorithms named after stars and galaxies. Each one has its own attack, decay and echo density: - **Dense reverbs**: Gemini, Hydra, Centaurus, Sagittarius, Great Annihilator, Andromeda (slowest attack, very long decay) - **Sparse/echo-heavy**: Lyra, Capricorn, Large Magellanic Cloud, Triangulum (very long repeating echoes) - **Strange repeating patterns**: Cirrus Major, Cirrus Minor, Cassiopeia, Orion - **EchoVerb** (echo morphing into reverb with DENSITY): Aquarius, Pisces - **Filtered feedback** (more realistic decays): Scorpio, Libra, Leo, Virgo, Pleiades, Sirius ## References - https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-supermassive/ ## Related - [[Valhalla VintageVerb]] - [[Reaper]]
